Who is accountable for the CE product?
Dirk Jonker and Yuyan Sun are the product owners. Both are members of SPA’s Education Committee.
What is Course Explorer?
Course Explorer (CE) is a curated, searchable directory of academic programs focused on people analytics and related disciplines. It is designed to help professionals, students, and educators quickly find credible, relevant education programs around the world.
What types of courses are included?
We currently list university-run programs, including graduate degrees, executive education, and certificate programs. These must be offered by accredited institutions and have a clear connection to people analytics, HR data, or organizational science.
How are courses selected for inclusion?
Programs are selected based on relevance, academic rigor, and the quality and completeness of publicly available information. The CE Team reviews each submission to ensure consistency and trustworthiness.
Participation and Contributions
How do I submit a new course for inclusion?
Visit spa.datadirk.com and use the course submission form. You’ll be asked to provide essential details such as institution name, course title, delivery format, duration, and a link to the official course website.
Can I suggest edits to an existing course listing?
Yes. Each listing includes an Edit Suggestion link to propose updates or corrections. All input is reviewed by the CE Team before being published.
Philosophy and Principles
Is Course Explorer sponsored or commercial in any way?
No. CE is a sponsorship-free project. We believe in providing unbiased, transparent, and non-commercial information to the community.
Are the product owners or contributors paid?
No. CE is a volunteer-driven initiative. All contributions are made in service of the SPA community.
Why don’t you include private training or bootcamps?
To maintain consistency and academic quality, we currently focus on university-led programs. We may revisit this policy in the future as the product evolves.

We are exploring additional functionality such as:
